Recent Projects

A 280 MW LNG fired power project in the district of Rae Bareilly – in advanced stage, 50 acres of land purchased by the company , SEL has a long term contract with GAIL to provide fuel for the plant to its HBJ pipeline . The projects enjoys advantages of having a Power Grid sub station across the project site and a GAIL  Tap-off point SV1 3.5 km from the site. Turbines orders with reputed European OEM.


10 MW Solar Power Project – To put the natures resource to optimum use , Shriya Energy Limited is setting up a 10 MW capacity Solar Power Units in Lucknow , for the purpose of which it has purchased 14 acres of land and is in process of buying further land . The solar panel are being negotiated with indigenous manufacturers.

Shriya Energy Limited is setting up Projects worth Rs. 20 Billion  by itself and through its subsidiaries and associate companies. These projects vary from Gas based  to Solar to Coal based to Non Conventional power projects.

Featured Projects

A coal based power plant of 120 MW capacity is planned for Ranchi in Jharkhand , land for the project has been purchased and negotiations for further land is under way . SEL as contracted with Indonesian Coal Company to provide coal for the project . Sel is also working on options of indigenous coal and coal from Australia . Turbines are being explored , SEL intends to procure turbines with high efficiency and the least emissions.

Shriya Energy Limited has envisaged to set up Bio Gas based power plant of 20 MW capacity in the district of Ghazipur , the power would be generated from all organic wastes , food processing waste , municipal waste , wholesale market waste , hotel and household waste and cow dung. Ghazipur being a rich agricultural area on the gangetic plains offers potential of providing agricultural waste in form of rice husk , bhusa and wholesale market wastes . The technology for this plant is being provided by  Haase Energietechnik AG Germany.
